About Us

🌲 Welcome to Men of the Woods

Where brotherhood meets the backcountry.

Men of the Woods is a social network created by and for gay men who love camping, hiking, nature, and living freely in the outdoors. We're a space for adventurers, naturists, trail guides, hammock-loungers, and everyone in between—no judgment, no censorship, just authentic connection.

Why We Exist

We saw a problem: Mainstream social media sites often censor our content, bury our posts, or make it harder for like-minded men to find each other. Outdoor-focused Facebook groups have rules that stifle expression, especially when it comes to nudity or queer identity.

So we built something better:
A space where gay men can be themselves—unfiltered, outdoors, and unapologetically real.

🏕️ What We Believe

  • Nature is for everyone.
And so is the joy of sharing it with others who understand your experience.

  • Community matters.
Whether you're solo camping in the backwoods or planning a group trip across the country, we believe in helping each other feel seen, supported, and safe.

  • Expression is essential.
Nudity is a natural part of life outdoors. As long as it’s consensual and respectful, we welcome it here.

🔥 What You’ll Find Here

  • Photo sharing, including nudity that reflects real, natural living.

  • User groups for campers, hikers, vanlifers, naturists, and survivalists.

  • Private messaging and member profiles for deeper connections.

  • Event coordination tools to plan meetups and trips.

  • A community that embraces freedom, friendship, and the love of the land.

🌍 Who We Are

Men of the Woods was founded by gay outdoor enthusiasts who were tired of asking permission to be themselves. We’re not a tech corporation—we're campers, just like you. This is a platform created with love, shaped by nature, and fueled by the desire to build something real.
